Calvin Stevens, Jr.'s Obituary
Calvin Frederick “Steve” Stevens, Jr. of Easton, MD passed away on Sat. June 13, 2009 at the Veterans Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was 55.
He was born Dec. 1, 1953 in Wilmington, DE the son of Shirley L. Baynard Wain of Seaford, DE and the late Calvin Frederick Stevens, Sr. who died on Dec. 12, 2008.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1978. He was a member of the VFW Post 5118 in Easton and a member of the American Legion Post 70 in Easton. He worked as a farm laborer.
Besides his mother he is survived by 4 children, Amber, Nicholas who is stationed in the Navy in Iraq, Ashley and Adam; a step-daughter Julie, one grandson, 2 sisters, Lisa Blizzard of Cordova, and Jeanine Griffith of Federalsburg, and 3 nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastern Shore Veterans Chapel in Hurlock with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at the Veterans Cemetery.
