Carl B. West's Obituary
Carl Benny West of Hurlock, MD passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Easton. He was 64.
He was born on April 12, 1945 in Iaeger, WV, the son of the late Joe West and Beatrice Sisk West .
He was a production manager for ValPac in Federalsburg. He enjoyed all forms of racing, particularly dirt track and sprints and especially loved his racing family.
He is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Pamela Ruf West, a daughter, Lisa Fizer and her husband, Daryle of Sharptown, seven sisters, Alice Yost (Barry) of Florida, Shirley Dinsch (Larry) of Texas, Katie Izzo, Beverly Rondy, Betty Fowler (Herb), Joann Huffman (Chuck), and Pam West all of Ohio, a brother, James West of Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the West Family Cemetery in Vance Hollow, WV with a reception following. Arrangements by Fanning Funeral Home, Iaeger, WV, and Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg.
