Carroll R. "Bunky" "Duck" Pinkett's Obituary
Carroll R. Pinkett, known as "Bunky" or "Duck" passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at the Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD. He was 60. He was born June 22, 1951 in Cambridge, MD the son of the late Emerson Harrington Pinkett and Martha Elizabeth Parker Pinkett. He was a graduate of North Dorchester High School Class of 1971. He worked for B & G Co. in Hurlock as a foreman for over 40 years. He loved baseball with the Orioles as a favorite team, football as a Ravens fan, fishing, watching westerns, and detailing cars. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rose M. Pinkett whom he married on April 10, 1984, two daughters Shavonya Newcomb of Hurlock and Tyisha K. Butler of Federalsburg, three grandchildren Aja Neal, Jaquan Fletcher, Eamere Jones; godchildren LaToya Collins of Preston, and Timothy McClain of Cambridge, three sisters, Marlene Wallace of Deal Island, Juanita Pinkett of Vienna, and Gwendolyn "Sissy" "Gwen" Pinkett of Salisbury. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Emerson "Buddy" Pinkett.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Interment will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 -11 a.m.
