Catherine (McNeal) Faulkner's Obituary
Catherine Faulkner Easton, Catherine “Cathy†Faulkner of Easton, peacefully departed this life, at the U.M.S.M.C., Easton on Thursday October 30, 2014. She was 71. Born in Easton, on May 11, 1943 she was the daughter of Pearl Cappa McNeal, of Easton, and the late Ralph O. McNeal, Sr. After graduating from Easton high School in 1962 she began working for Roslyn Farms in Trappe, she enjoyed working with horses among her other duties for more than 29 years. She then worked at Nelson’s Auction Gallery, in Trappe for eight years until her retirement. Cathy trained many horses over the years, and received the most pleasure helping children with their ponies. With her love of the outdoors, Cathy liked to crab, and fish with her family. She enjoyed spending her time with family, and friends, decorating her home, and baking applesauce cakes, at Christmas. She always liked watching her Granddaughter participate in sports, and her Sunday visits with her Uncle John. Her memberships include; being a leader of the Talbot Co. 4-H Club for more than 15 years, Talbot Co. Ag. Center, where she served as secretary, Talbot Co., Horse Show Association, the Eastern Shore Horse Show Association, and the Wicomico Hunt Club Association in Salisbury. In addition to her mother, Cathy is survived by her beloved husband; James T. “Jimmy†Faulkner whom she married on April 16, 1966, a daughter; Kellie D. Towers (Kenny), a granddaughter; Melody Samantha “Pumpkin†Towers, all of Easton, two brothers; Ralph O. Mc Neal, Jr. (Darlene) and Daniel L. Mc Neal. One sister; Pam Grudis (Michael) and a special Uncle John Cappa. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Beverly McNeal. Friends may visit at the Ostrowski Funeral Home, 312 S. Talbot Street, St. Michaels, on Monday November 3, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00PM. A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday November 4, 2014 in the Landing Neck Cemetery, Trappe. In lieu of flowers donations in Cathy’s memory to; the Talbot Special Riders, P.O.
