Catherine E. Trice's Obituary
Catherine Elizabeth Hudson Trice went to be with the Lord on March 26, 2016. Catherine was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina on November 23, 1923, the daughter of Richard and Mabel Hudson. She was married to William O. Trice on April 19, 1944, and had two sons: William N. Trice and Richard B. Trice. Residing in Seaford, Delaware, she worked as a beautician out of her home, while also working at the DuPont Company, and was a supervisor at the DuPont Company at the time of her retirement. Catherine was a member of many years at Atlanta Road Alliance Church.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, William, and four brothers: Marion Hudson, Frank Hudson, David Hudson and Horace Hudson. She is survived by her sister, Marie Strickland, of Roanoke Rapids, NC.; two sons, William (Bill) and Jackie Trice of Wilsonville, Alabama, Richard (Rick) and Lydia of Seaford, Delaware; five grandchildren, Lee Trice, Jennifer Vanhoose, Gwendolyn (Wendy) Wilson, Amy Trice, Richard (Rich) Trice; four step-grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Atlanta Road Alliance Church in Seaford on Saturday, April 2nd at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am. There will be a private burial in the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Maryland.
