Cathy English's Obituary
Cathy Gargani English of Federalsburg, MD died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007 as a result of a vehicular accident on Reliance Road, near Federalsburg. She was 51 years old.
She was born June 30, 1955 in Easton, MD, the daughter of the late Kenneth Leon Kenton and Hilda Louise Darling Kenton.
She was a graduate of Colonel Richardson High School Class of 1973. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #5246 in Federalsburg. She was always on the go, whether catering, making floral arrangements, attending yard sales and antiquing. She enjoyed home decorating for friends and family, and especially loved spending time with her granddaughter, Emilie.
She is survived by a daughter, Kelli B. Schanken, and her husband, Chris, of Hurlock, a son, Brad A. Gargani of Cherry Point, NC, a granddaughter , Emilie M. Schanken, a step-granddaughter, Victoria E. Schanken, three sisters, Linda Standiford of Delmar, DE, Patti Startt of Preston, and Lori Irwin of Linkwood, and several nieces and nephews. She was previously married to
James A. Gargani and Walter H. English, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. David Heistand officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. A V.F. W. service will be held prior to the service at 10:45 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Hallowell, Wayne Startt, Jr. Mark Andrew, Kevin Roop, Kevin Standiford, and Harold Meyers.
