Cathy Lynn Foster's Obituary
Cathy L. Foster Tilghman, Cathy Lynn Foster of Tilghman, died at the Talbot Hospice House, Easton on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. She was 62. Born in Easton on November 2, 1954 she was the daughter of the late Earle T. Foster and Betty George Foster- Laird and Step-daughter of the late George “Babe†Laird. Cathy graduated from St. Michaels High school in 1973. She then began a working career at various places in and around the Bay Hundred area, including Carpenter Street Saloon, and the St. Michaels Acme where she worked until retiring for health reasons. Cathy loved to spend her time with her family and friends. She is survived by a brother; Tommy Foster III (Judy) of Easton, three sisters; Betty Ruth Shortall (Bucky) of McDaniel, Kay McQuay , Brenda Wilson (Robbie) all of Tilghman, a sister-in-law Agnes Foster of Easton. Three nieces; Nan Lambeth, Laura Collins, Dawn Stewart, five nephews; Andy Foster, C.R. Wilson, Jason Wilson, Earl Foster IV, and Donnie Foster., and many Great- nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and stepfather, Cathy was preceded in death by a brother; Donald Lee Foster. A memorial service will be held at the Tilghman united Methodist Church, on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 11:00AM. Inurnment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Tilghman Vol.; Fire Co. Station 70, Tilghman, or to Talbot Hospice Foundation 586 Cynwood drive, Easton, MD. 21601.
