Charles Lyden Beauchamp's Obituary
Charles Lyden Beauchamp, 76, of Greenwood passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, with his children by his side at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford.
He was born to the late Bernard "Barney" and Clemmie Beauchamp on March 19, 1948.
Charles worked for Tri-Gas & Oil for about 42 years before his retirement.
He is survived by his five children: Brandy Hatten (John) of Greenwood, Gary Beauchamp of Bridgeville, Heather Beauchamp (Curtis) of Greenwood, Melissa Beauchamp of Denton, MD, and Jessica Beauchamp of Greenwood; many special grandchildren: Alan Watkins, Charles Spicer, Angelina Moreno, Shionnia Sampson, Gage Hatten (Anna), Keon Sampson, Darryl Matthews, Devon Beauchamp, and Derrick Beauchamp; his great-grandchildren: Kathi, McKenzie, Kobe, Willow Grace; siblings: Rita Neal (George), Louise Cheek (Denzil), and Peggy Friedel (David); along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Beauchamp; son, Robert Wade Watkins; and grandson, John Hatten, III.
A service in Charles' memory will be held Friday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the sevice. Burial at the Eastern Shore Maryland Veterans Cemetery will follow the service at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Framptom Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs for the family.
