Charles Virgil Bowdle, Jr.'s Obituary
On Thursday, December 8, 2022, Charles Virgil Bowdle, Jr., of Federalsburg passed away at his home at the age of 65.
Chuck was born on October 3, 1957 to Charles Virgil Bowdle, Sr., and Betty Rae Hensley (who both have preceded him in death). He is survived by his sister, Debra Adams and her husband Nick and their children and families (his nieces and nephews): Crystal and Keith Brock, Tyler, Dylan; Stephani and Chris Adams, Libby, James; and Derek & Kate Adams, Peyton, Brady, Maxx, Parks and Asher. Chuck always said we had the best family ever.
In his younger days, Chuck (or Virgil as they called him) worked for Edwin and Patsy Collins on their farms near American Corner, Maryland. He delivered fuel for Tri-Gas & Oil Company, drove for Solo Cup Company and worked for and retired from Sisk Fulfillment all of Federalsburg.
We enjoyed Chuck's sense of humor and his chuckle at his own jokes. Chuck enjoyed relaxing at home, watching old re-runs of shows like Gunsmoke, and Rawhide and reminiscing about family, friends, and the good ole' days
May he now rest in peace in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ knowing that he will be in our hearts forever.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Pastor Pam Tull-Baynum will officiate. Burial will follow at Bloomery Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
