Charles S. ("Bucky") Murphy's Obituary
Charles Stafford Murphy “Bucky”,62, of Tilghman, MD died suddenly on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 while working on the BEAUTIFUL waters OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY with two fellow watermen.
Born on December 1, 1949, in Talbot County, he was the son of the late Charles Bartlett “Bart” and Elsie June Murphy. Bucky was a life long waterman and died doing what he loved the most. He is survived by his 3 children, Dawn, Katie, Josh and their families, including 4 grandchildren.
He is also survived by three brothers, Norman Murphy and his wife Barbara June; Patrick Murphy and his wife Linda; and Shawn Murphy as well as several aunts and uncles.
He was adored by his nine nieces and nephews; he was friends with many and liked by all. He lived life to the fullest and left behind alot of fond memories. He will be sadly missed.
A celebration of Bucky’s life will be held on Monday, Dec 26th at 11am at the Tilghman United Methodist Church. Burial will be private.
