Charles Thomas Burrows' Obituary
Charles Thomas Burrows (Sonny), passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Caroline Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Denton, MD. He was 88.
He was born on November 7, 1932, the son of the late Charles Thomas Burrows, Sr. and Ida Marie (Sard) Burrows.
He was a farmer for many years before retiring. He continued to do lawn care for people and maintained the grounds at the Linchester Mill in Preston until 2019.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and riding his lawnmower.
He is survived by his children Charles R. Burrows (Queen Anne), Dale Harmon (Easton), Jerry Burrows (Kay) (Preston), Mark Burrows (Shelly) (Easton). His grandchildren Richard Bobitka (Trappe), Richard Harmon (Allie) (Easton), Jay Burrows, Brian Burrows (Preston), Tyler Burrows (Winston-Salem NC), Ashley Burrows (Preston), Robbie Burrows (Warwick, MD) and Brennen Burrows (Preston), 6 great grandchildren and one brother Denny Burrows (Easton).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of over 60 years, Betty (Blunt) Burrows, daughter Susan Linder and 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston, MD with Pastor Pamela Bockart officiating .
