Charles William (Chuck) Shenk of St. Michaels passed away Saturday February 9, 2013. Born January 24, 1967 in Fairfax, VA, Chuck was the beloved son of William and Sharon (Claxton) Shenk of Bozman.After graduating from St. Michaels High School in 1985, Chuck attended the College of Wooster and graduated in 1989. Chuck loved his family and friends. He enjoyed fireworks with his son Noah (WOW watch out), watching his daughter Georgia acting, his garden at the St. Michaels Community Garden, boating (not in hurricanes), hunting with Jim, Matt and JD, and Redskins games with his dad. Chuck was a proud father of Georgia Christine Shenk (16) and Noah James Shenk (15) of Lewes, DE. In addition, Chuck is survived by his brother’s family, James Franklin Shenk, Noreen Shenk, Jacob Shenk and Kyle Shenk, his grandmother Audra Shenk of Easton, MD and his grandmother Esther Claxton of Garrett, IN. A memorial service will be held at 11am Monday February 18th at the Bozman United Methodist Church. Burial Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michaels Community Center and Community Gardens, St. Michaels Fire Department or Talbot County Hospice Foundation.
