Charles Jones' Obituary
Charles L. Jones, “Bo Jones” of Hurlock passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his home.
He was 84.
He was born in Vienna, Maryland on May 31, 1933, the son of the late David Jones and Mildred Rideout Jones.
He worked in the construction business. He had previously worked for John Wright Cannery and several construction companies through out his working career.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Violeece Rosalie Jenkins Jones, two children, Gregory Jenkins and his wife, Carmelita of Baltimore, Marva Jenkins of Cambridge, a god-daughter, Jeanette Roberts of Preston, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Mae Jackson of Vienna, Lula Parren of Prince Frederick, MD, and a brother, Orville Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews,and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four children, David Jones, Tyrone Linwood Jones, Elaine Jenkins, and Gail Thomas, two grandchildren, Michael Quailes and Joanne Patrice Jenkins, and five brothers, Clifford Jones, Ronald Jones, Louis Jones, James Jones, and Rudolph Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 12 noon at Mt. Calvary UMC in Preston. A viewing will be held from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. with interment following at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery. www.framptom.com
