Charles G. Wilson
Trappe, Charles Grant “Chip” Wilson Jr., 69, of Trappe, MD, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 at The University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Born in Easton, MD on October 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Charles G. Wilson and Anne Lindsay Wilson Posey. From the age of five and into his twenties, Chip was an accomplished equestrian. As a young adult, he pursued his love of art through oil painting and later began carving decoys. He enjoyed sailing for many years and also had a great passion for cooking. On January 19, 1980 Chip and Mary Byrne were united in marriage and together raised three children. Chip is survived by his wife Mary, their son Colin Wilson and his fiancé Heather Gleason; his stepson, Tyler Kimmey, his wife Catherine Kimmey, and their three sons: Devin, Jared, and Nate; and his stepdaughter, Tonya Fitzgerald, her husband Mike Fitzgerald, and their two sons, Michael and Aidan. A memorial service will be held at Trappe United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions made to Trappe Methodist Church, Talbot County Humane Society P.O. Box 1143 Easton, MD. 21601 or The Trappe Volunteer Fire Department P.O.
