Charlotte Marie Barrett's Obituary
Charlotte Marie Barrett, daughter of the late William Barrett and the late Sigenora Armstrong, was born on August 5, 1943. She went home to be with her Lord on Sunday December 17, 2017 at Delmar Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delmar, DE. She was 74 years old.
She loved to read, sew and bake. She also loved to sing, especially her favorite song, “Sin Doesn’t Live Here Anymore” by Candi Staton. She loved to babysit and there were always children playing at her house. She attended Emmanuel Full Gospel Ministries in Laurel, DE.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Karen Barrett, Janice Gibbs (Bernard), Michael Barrett (Vanessa), and Patrick Flamer Jr. (Heather), 12 grandchildren, Rashawntae, Teshea, Anthony, Natia, Keith, Rodney, Antionette, Keisha, Elijah, Charnese, Trevor, and Ishianey, 10 great grandchildren, four siblings, William Barrett Jr., Cecilia Barrett, Sharon Barrett, and Clifton Armstrong, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents William Barrett and Sigenora Armstrong, her son, Leon Barrett, and three siblings, Mary Virginia Williams, Leon Barrett Sr., and Carolyn Barrett.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 23, 2017 at 11:00am at Framptom Funeral Home, with Apostle Diane Alexander officiating. Friends may call on the family on Saturday from 10:00-11:00am directly before the service.
