Cheryl Ann Willey's Obituary
Cheryl Ann Willey passed away suddenly at her home in Federalsburg, MD on December 24, 2023. She was 62 years old.
Cheryl was born in Baltimore, MD to the late George Willey and Carolyn Ann Willey. At a young age, they moved to the Eastern Shore of MD where she attended school in Caroline County, MD.
She worked most of her life in the food industry in various roles. Her last position was as the deli manager at Reliance Market where she was beloved by all the locals who frequented the store. She maintained a positive disposition at work and enjoyed striking up conversations and getting to know each of her customers. When her mother became terminally ill, she made it a point to leave and help take care of her in the latter days of her life before she eventually passed. She was also a full-time caretaker for her daughter, Samantha.
Cheryl lived a simple and modest life and loved her family. She enjoyed thrift stores and anywhere she could find a bargain. She loved all things country including home décor, music and everything in between. She was an excellent cook and took pride in keeping an immaculate home where everyone was welcome. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter, Samantha Henry of Federalsburg and her son Ronnie Henry (wife, Selina) of East New Market; her sisters, Susan Bradley (husband, Kevin), Sandy Dorman (husband, Kevin D.) both of Federalsburg, MD, and Tammy Murphy (husband, Woody) of Salisbury, MD; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Henry, her brother, George "Buddy" Willey, sister, Debbie Carmine and her first husband, Ronnie Henry Sr.
A memorial and celebration of life will be held at the VFW located at 2630 Rosser Rd, Federalsburg, MD on Sunday, January 21st at 12pm with lunch to follow.
