Clara Ann Horsey's Obituary
Clara Ann Horsey, of Laurel, Delaware, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 73.
She was born on December 28, 1945 in Laurel, Delaware, the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth Roberts and the late Clinton West.
She enjoyed singing and going to church, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Sarah Elizabeth Roberts, her daughter, Joyce Lingham, her grandchildren, Bryan Horsey of Wilmington, DE, Angel Horsey of Philadelphia, PA, Dwight Lingham of Seaford, DE, seven great-grandchildren, her sisters, Helena Richards (Earl) of Seaford, DE, Mary West of Laurel, DE, and Dolly Pitts (Jesse) of Seaford, DE, many nieces and nephews and her many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2019 at 1pm at St. Matthews First Baptist Church in Laurel, DE, with Pastor Diane Winder officiating. Friends may call on the family from 12-1pm prior to the start of the service. Interment will be held at St. Matthews First Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the service.
