Claude Spivey's Obituary
Claude Spivey of Laurel, DE passed away at Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE on Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was 78 years old.
He was born February 2, 1934 in Thomasville, Georgia the son of the late Warren Spivey and Gertrude Spivey.
He had worked as a poultry processor at Perdue Farms.
He is survived by a son Clyde Spivey and a daughter Gertrude Spivey both of Georgia, step-children, Clara Hurt, Mattie Farlow and Bernice Walters all of Laurel, DE, 17 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, Columbia, DE at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Laurel, DE
