Claudell Bowdle Jr.'s Obituary
Claudell Bowdle, Jr. known as “Claude” of Salisbury, formerly of Hurlock, MD passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was 79.
He was born in Cambridge, MD on Sept. 3, 1937, the son of the late Claudell Bowdle, Sr. and Marie Poole Bowdle.
Mr. Bowdle attended Hurlock High School and was the first graduating class of North Dorchester High School in 1955. He graduated from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE, and worked as an accountant and data processor for O.A. Newton & Son in Bridgeville, DE serving for 34 years, retiring in 1991. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed traveling to many places with the Holloway Bus Company.
He is survived by many cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Reverend Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
