Mr. Clayland Lee Lake, Sr.'s Obituary
Clayland Lee Lake, Sr., 75, of Hurlock, MD passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.
He was the son of the James L. and Mary E. Butler Lake.
After graduating from Maces Lane High School, Cambridge, Maryland in 1961, he entered the United States Air Force. Returned to Maryland and worked at E.I. Dupont Seaford, Delaware for over 33 years as a supervisor.
He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and bike riding.
He is survived by his daughter Dianna (Bill) LeFevre, grandchildren, Alex and Deion LeFevre, of Enfield, Connecticut and Jordan (Leeana) Malone stationed El Paso, Texas, siblings, James Richard (Elizabeth) Lake, of Preston, Thomas M. Lake of Federalsburg, Marion Jones and Patricia Lake, of Hurlock, and Doris (Leonard) Palmer of McDaniel, Maryland and a host of caring nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Lake, a son Clayland Lee Lake, Jr and a brother, Ernest C. Lake.
A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD at 2 p.m.
