Clayton L. Haymond's Obituary
Clayton L. Haymond of Greenwood passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at his home. He was 66.
He was born on April 7, 1956 in Milford, Delaware, the son of the late Clayton E. Haymond and Betty Jane Murphy Haymond.
After his education, he married Crystal Friedel. Clayton became a pipe fitter working in construction for many years. Later he enjoyed his role to be a dad who stayed home to help raise his family. In his free time, he loved supporting the little league, telling bible stories, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Crystal Friedel Haymond of Greenwood, two sons: Jonathan Downes, Sr. and Christopher Friedel and his wife Susan all of Greenwood; Kari Friedel and her husband Alvaro of Bridgeville, and Kristin Friedel of Berlin, MD; fourteen grandchildren: Aleckz Friedel-Smith, Daniel Abarca, Tyler Friedel, Ava Abarca, Jonathan Downes, Jr., Kaitlyn Friedel, Alexis Friedel Briana Friedel, Jordan Abarca, Nevaeh Martin-Chavez, Berenice Martin-Chavez, Florencio Martin-Chavez, Gilberto Martin Chavez; one great-grandchild: Dominique Abarca; and four siblings: Diane Adkin of Parsonsburg, Donald Haymond of Milford, Michael Haymond of Georgetown, and Lisa Haymond of Parsonsburg.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 12:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood. Burial will follow at Saint Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00
