Clemmie Virginia Beauchamp's Obituary
Clemmie Virginia Beauchamp of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at the Caroline Hospice House in Denton, MD. She was 86.
She was born in Federalsburg on April 29, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles Rufus Mitchell and Sarah Violet Palmer Rash. Her husband of 51 years, Bernard “Barney” Franklin Beauchamp preceded her in death.
Clemmie retired from Maryland Plastics after 25 years of service.
She is survived by 4 children, Charles Lyden Beauchamp of Greenwood, DE, Rita K. Neal of Federalsburg, Louise M. Cheek of Ridgely, and Peggy S. Friedel of Greenwood, DE; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren; a half-sister Ethel Szarek of Chestertown, MD, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the following siblings, Samuel Mitchell, Nellie Ford, Lewis Mitchell, Ralph Mitchell, Ruth Stone, James Rash and Floyd Rash.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 13, at 1:00pm at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 12-1pm.
