Courtney Sherman's Obituary
Courtney Lynn Sherman of Rhodesdale died October 9, 2016 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD after a brief illness. She was 25.
She was born in Cambridge, MD on October 8, 1991 the daughter of Teddy and Shelley Lynn Porter Sherman of Rhodesdale.
She was a graduate of North Dorchester High School in 2009 and later received her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Chesapeake College.
In addition to her parents Teddy and Shelley Lynn Porter Sherman, she is survived by a brother, Justin R. Sherman of Federalsburg, her maternal grandparents, Chester and Joyce Armes of Federalsburg, her paternal grandmother, Connie Sherman of Rhodesdale and the late Lester Sherman, a great-grandmother, Grace Armes, an uncle Chester Armes, Jr. and Rachel of Bridgeville, her aunt, Stacie Armes of Federalsburg, her uncle and aunt, Donald and Terry Conner of East New Market and cousins Matthew Conner his wife Dana and son Weslee, Samantha Conner, Peyton Mitchell and Brooklynn Mendes. Special thanks to two special nurses at Johns Hopkins, Lisa and Shawn.
Funeral services for her will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from noon to 1:00 p.m.
The family has asked for assistance to defray funeral costs which may be done by sending your donation to Framptom Funeral Home 216 N. Main Street Federalsburg, MD 21632.
