Obituary: Cynthia B. “Cindy” Harrison

Cynthia B “Cindy” Harrison passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at her home in Easton, Maryland. She was 68.
She was born on May 16, 1948 to the late Helen Hunt Bridges and Bartlett V. Bridges.
Most of her younger years were spent living on a farm, which she truly loved. Cindy graduated from S.M.H.S. in 1967. Following graduation she went to work at Maryland National Bank. On September 5, 1976 she married Marion Elwood Harrison, Jr. They made their home in St. Michaels where both were born and raised. (True Natives)
After almost 20 years at the bank she retired to work for the family masonry business, Elwood Harrison, eventually it was Elwood Harrison and Son. When her husband retired they moved to Easton to start a new chapter in their lives.
Cindy is survived by her Step Daughter, Meca Lyn Connolly and her husband Curt; one brother Thomas R. Bridges and his wife Esther; Three step grandchildren, Colby Haddaway, Logan Jones and Mecala “Lexi” Jones, a sister in-law Lana Batten and her husband Curt, also a special aunt, Delia B. Denny.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 2:00 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in St. Michaels with the Reverend Tonya McClain officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 at the church. Interment will follow in Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601..
