Daisy Pauline Waltemeyer's Obituary
Daisy “Pauline” Waltemeyer (Lockwood) of Preston, MD passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 60 years old.
She was born April 23, 1949 in the District of Columbia, the daughter of Daisy Pauline St. Clair Stanton of Riverdale, MD, and the late Joseph Francis Stanton.
She had retired as a clerk from Super Fresh.
Besides her mother she is survived by her husband Gary E. Waltemeyer, two daughters, Gina Norman and her husband Michael of Deale, MD, and Denise Lockwood of Riverdale, MD, three step-daughters, Valerie Walker and her husband Leigh of Bel Air, MD, Dawn Dice and her husband Thomas of Mt. Vernon, OH, Krista Waltemeyer of Edgewood, MD, 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlin, Emily and Eugene, 11 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Gale Evans of New Carrollton, MD and Tammy Stanton of Arnold, MD, and a brother Joseph Stanton of Edgewater, MD. Besides her father she was preceded in death by a daughter Regina Lockwood, a brother Stephen Stanton, and a step-son Capt. Scott E. Waltemeyer.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor George Ashley officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wed. from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
