Dallas Wilson Moore's Obituary
Dallas Wilson Moore of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at his home. He was 73 years old.
He was born June 13, 1935 in Federalsburg, the son of the late James Franklin Moore, Sr. and Florence E. Jones Moore. He was raised by his late grandmother Clara Moore.
He was a salesman, driver and warehouse worker for Federal Paper Company in Federalsburg. He was a member of Park Lane Church of God, a member of Eastern Shore Umpires Association and for many years was chief umpire for District 6. He also coached and umpire for South Caroline Little League for over 50 years. He faithfully attended his grandchildren’s Little League games.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Ann Willin Moore, 3 sons, Joseph Cahall of Delmar, DE, Dallas W. Moore, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD and Wade Moore and his wife, Sandra, of Harrington, DE, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a brother Robert Moore of Georgetown, DE and several nieces and nephews. A brother, James F. Moore, Jr., preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. Jan. 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home and from 12:00 to 1:00 on Saturday at the church.
