Ann Franz has lit a candle in memory of Rev. Dan Edward Walker. My prayers and caring thoughts to his family. He was a very special and kind person.
Rev Walker was such an important part of my personal Christian journey. Many years ago when my wife and I were living in Federalsburg, he came to our house to visit, pray and invite us to attend Christ Church.
Because of that visit, he helped our family reconnect with our Lord. Following that, my wife had to have back surgery after the birth of our third child. Honestly, we were going through a REALLY tough time..... 3 small children and no one to help us locally. Pastor Dan, the Walker family and Christ Church provided meals and help that eventually got us through those months of stress.
Rev Dan Walker was not just a man of faith, but he was a Disciple of
Christ in what he did for others. In fact, we experienced that through Ruth, Terri, Julia and Nancy.
Pastor Dan gave us a small porcelain church one time that played 'Amazing Grace'. I say today to the Walker family and friends, Rev Dan Walker (in fact, the Walker family) have been amazing in their grace and love for others. My sympathies, Jim Orr

Dan Walker Sr. will be greatly missed. He
was my favorite uncle. Uncle Dan was the definition of a gentleman and a strong example of a man of God. He was my role model. He and Aunt Ruth always made me feel welcomed and loved. My fondest memories of Uncle Dan were seeing him in his garden, taking us fishing and listening to his stories of his past. Thank you for being such a great example of how a man should act and live. You left your mark on the world and touched the hearts of many- especially mine, love your nephew, Chuckie
