Daniel Carl Mast's Obituary
Daniel Carl Mast of Greenwood passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his home. He was 54.
He was born on November 3, 1966 in Wilmington, DE, the son of the late Roy Mast and Olive Schrock Mast of Greenwood.
“Danny” graduated from Woodbridge High School with the class of 1985. Following his education, he worked alongside of his father as a brick mason for many years. Later he stopped working to care for his mother and family. He had a big heart for people; he loved his family and thought of his nephews and nieces as his own. He was especially close to his best friend and nephew Trevor whom he loved like a son.
“Uncle” Danny was always the life of any family and friends gathering. He loved to play his guitar or piano and sing to or with his family. He never met a person he couldn’t make friends with and often took interest in people who especially needed a friend or help.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Payton Eby Mast of Greenwood, a brother Doug Mast and his wife Carol; two sisters: Sharon Mast Wescott and Michelle Mast Morgan all of Harrington, and his devoted nieces and nephews: Jordan, Trevor, Logan, Gabriel, Lextyn, Douglas, Kenneth, Alexandria and his great niece Zadie.
In addition to his father, Danny was preceded in death by a nephew: David Mast.
Private burial will be at the Greenwood Mennonite Church Cemetery in Greenwood.
