Daniel Michel's Obituary
Daniel Michel, also known as "Pheo" to some, was born to the late Ermite Joseph and Augustin Michel on March 29, 1957. Daniel departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the age of 67.
Daniel attended school in Leogane, Haiti. He came to the United States in 1979. He met his wife Sabrina in 1994. On November 14, 1998 they were united in marriage.
Daniel worked several jobs in his lifetime. Daniel's last employment was at B & G as a machine operator. He worked until his health started failing him. Not working was very hard on Daniel because he loved to work and took pride in his job.
Daniel had several hobbies, but his main hobby was cooking. He loved to cook. His dream was to open a restaurant. He also loved to listen to tropicana music. Daniel loved to travel or take road trips. He always looked forward to going back to Haiti every year especially during Eastertime.
Daniel leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Sabrina who stayed by his side through his sickness; his five kids Edeline (Max), Niki (Darryl), Darnice, Allen, and Nesha; his goddaughter Britney; his ten grandkids Kepler, Za'Quan, Da'Naja, Diamond, Darryl Jr., Kaiden, Kayla, Audre'ya and Allen Jr.; his two great-grandkids Sahmiel and Daz Mir; his brother Ernest (Leogane, Haiti); his three sisters Meline (Guadelope), Zilmere (New York) and Yanque (Canada); and his mother-in-law Helen Harmon.
Preceding him in death are his parents Ermite Joseph and Augustin Michel; a special cousin Elida Marie Joseph (Tida), and numerous sisters and brothers.
A viewing will be held on the evening of Friday, April 4, 2025 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg from 6pm until 8pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Greater Full Gospel Church of God in Christ in Hurlock starting at Noon. A viewing will again take place at the church from 11am until Noon. Burial will follow at Reids Grove Cemetery in Vienna.
