Danny Quinn Bayliss' Obituary
Danny Quinn Bayliss was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend to many. Born on December 9,1950 in Cambridge, Maryland. He was the son of the late Eugene and Agnes Cecil.
Danny's warm and kind spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. On May 1, 2024, he
departed this world, in Seaford, Delaware, surrounded by family and friends, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.
He served in the National Guard and the United States Army, for 16 years before receiving his honorable discharge.
Throughout his life, Danny found joy in simple pleasures. An avid card player, he reveled in games of poker and cherished moments with loved ones around the table.His love for movies, wrestling and playing on his phone brought laughter and enjoyment into the lives of those around him. Danny's fascination with paranormal activity sparked discussions and intrigue among friends and family showcasing his curiosity and open-minded nature.
Danny is survived by his devoted wife Sandra Hicks Bayliss, a brother Jack Bayliss,
CharlieTaylor of ChurchHill and Brenda Bayliss of Denton and, his children Dawn Jean Lord, and her husband Butch of Bridgeville, Danny Eugene Bayliss and his wife Laurie of Seaford, Mary Clara Willett and her husband Carl of Federalsburg, Kimberly Danniel Carter and her husband Thomas of Easton, Crystal Lynn Chambers and her husband Jack of Seaford, Wanda Lee Byington of Federica, 13 grandchildren: Mitchell, Steven, Patrick, Travis, CJ, Trinity, Wyatt, Autumn, Elisha, Lillian, Katelyn, JJ and Shelby; and 6 great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of legacy forward, honoring his memory and the values he instilled in them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Stephen Howell, a sister Clara Taylor, and a brother Lloyd Bayliss.
A funeral service to celebrate Danny's life will be held at Framptom Funeral Home in
Federalsburg on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 11:00. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston.
