Darryl Dwayne Bolden's Obituary
Darryl Dwayne Bolden of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 at his residence. He was 47 years old.
He was born Nov. 5, 1961 in Easton, MD the son of the late Joe Louis Bolden, Sr. who died on Sept. 15, 2007 and Alice Ula Bolden who died on March 1, 2006.
He attended Colonel Richardson High School where he played football. He had previously worked in the shipping and handling for Pet Poultry Products.
He is survived by 2 sons, Durelle C. Lake of Federalsburg and Dwayne T. Lake of Cambridge, MD, 6 grandchildren, Tyquesha, Trevion, Quadri, Camren, Kimir and Dwayne, Jr.; 7 siblings, Joe Ricketts (Debbie) of Princess Anne, MD, Wanda Murray Knight (Michael) of Federalsburg, Richard “Ricky” Bolden (LaSonja) of Hurlock, MD Keith Bolden of Westover, MD, Vera Bolden and Margo Ricks (David), of Federalsburg, Fernandez Bolden (Toya) of Bridgeville, DE; maternal grandmother Margaret Prattis of Denton, many nieces and nephews and 2 god-children, Jaylen and Jayona Ricks.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy, 100 Austin Avenue, Federalsburg. Friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will be private in Federal Hill Cemetery.
