I remember Dave from my childhood at the track with my Mom, Bunny Burkett. Dave was always taking photos! Candid shots! Portraits! Awesome burnouts! anything that he could photograph that he thought would make someone else's day when they saw he captured their memories. His eyes would sparkle in anticipation and his smile would grow bigger as he showed his work; all from the sheer joy of bringing a smile to someone's face. Dave was a true artist.
Dave was undoubtedly one of the most kind souls I've ever met. In 2020, after the loss of my Mom, Dave and I picked up communications again. He sent myself and my family photos and items in memorial to my Mom. Those items capture some of our most cherished memories and we will always be grateful.
I know Dave is now in heaven with all his friends that went before him ... smiling, laughing, and continuing to help others capture and cherish memories through his art!

i loved to go to races with him he would tell me all kinds of storys and kept me up with everything that was going on in racing. I miss him very much . he always had memoriable of all kinds for me.he would give you the shirt off his back and would always do anything he could for you. I remember he gave me a camera and taught me how to take pictures at the race track.he took me places id never been and introduced me to racers that I thought id never know. he always treated me like I was one of his own.i pray for the family and hope everthing goes well.he was one man ill never forget.. pete and sandy niblett
