David K. Buchanan's Obituary
David Kenneth Buchanan, 47, of Preston, MD passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on November 25, 1966 to Mattie L. Von Ritchie who preceded him in death. Mr. Buchanan was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia L. Semple.
Very early in his life David was lovingly adopted by Carol (Earl) Bradley of Vienna, MD who survives and C. Kenneth Buchanan who preceded him in death in 1988. In addition, he is survived by three children, Scott, Brandon, and Jennifer Buchanan, brothers James (Annette), Michael, and Richard (Emily) Fleming, a sister, Patti Fleming, stepbrothers, David, Jay (Julie) , and Steve (Heather) Bradley. He is also survived by brother, Thomas Von Ritchie, sister Kimberly Martine, nephew James (Susie) Fleming, sister-in-law, Sandy (Terry) Langan as well as many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor John Lewis officiating. Interment will military honors will follow at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock. A visitation with the family will be from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to offset funeral expenses can be sent to Framptom Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Federalsburg, MD, 21632.
