Dawn Johnston Tyler's Obituary
Dawn Tyler, 60 of Tilghman Island, Maryland passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Dawn had her loving husband, daughter, son, and her son's better half by her side. She was born on April 26, 1964 to Jerry Johnston and the late Robert Johnston.
Dawn attended school in Caroline County. She got married to the love of her life Gibby Tyler and shared two beautiful children Holli Russell and Christopher Tyler. Dawn worked for Shannahan Artesian Well Co. until her passing.
Dawn was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed her huskies, gardening, the ocean and Chesapeake Bay, and later in life her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Gibby; her children Holli and Chris (Shay); her grandchildren Griffin, Devin, Deyhann and Aiden; her mother Jerry; her brother David; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father Robert Johnston.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Tilghman Methodist Church at 12pm with a visitation one hour prior starting at 11am. Fellowship will follow the service.
