Dawson H. Anthony died at his home in Federalsburg on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013. He was 82. He was born in Greensboro, MD on January 30, 1931 the son of the late William Anthony and Susie Flowers Anthony. He was a graduate of Green Read Obituary
He will be missed. He always always cutting up and carrying on when ever I was around him.RIP.
What a wonderful and honest man. Years ago I drove the fuel truck and made the deliveries with him, as the co-pilot, after his heart attack. Had a great time doing it. He will be missed. What a good friend.
What a Great Man! I do not remember "not" knowing Dawson. He was always smiling and laughing. He was commander at the VFW when I worked there and was always around to make sure we were safe and had what we needed. When I called he would never let ya down, he would be there, if only to bring milk for drinks. He was also a very good friend of my dad's, they were golfing buddies. He visited dad when he was ill and just sat with him to keep him company. Altho some may have tried to bring him down, they were unsuccessful. That is because he was and always be a stand up guy. For the many years he came into my father's store he was always in a good mood with a smile upon his face. During mom's final years he walked her across the street and made sure she got safely in the car.after church. What a wonderful man!!!
