Dean Edwin Woods' Obituary
Dean E. Woods, 51, died at the home of a friend in Federalsburg on Friday, June 10, 2011.
He was born on December 3, 1959 in Orlando, FL the son of the late Jack E. Woods and Laura Mae Ross Woods.
He was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School, WV. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and later attended college level technical training in Delaware for several years. He has worked for twenty-five years as a Production Mechanic at Solo Cup Company in Federalsburg, MD.
He loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by two children, Megan E. Woods and Heather M. Woods, both of Dover, DE, and though separated, his wife, Loraine “Lori” (Mann) Woods of Dover, a brother, Bob Woods and his wife Charlotte “Sissy” of Summersville, WV, two nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great-niece, 1 great-nephew, and many close friends. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Kleinik.
Funeral services for him will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home at 216 North Main Street in Federalsburg with Rev. Dan Gedman officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and also on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Inurnment, following cremation, with military honors will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, MD.
