Deborah Ann Cox's Obituary
Deborah Ann Cox, of Preston formerly of Baltimore, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore surrounded by her family. She was 62.
She was born on July 28, 1954 and was a daughter of the late Margaret Burrs. On September 17, 1990, she married the late Michael Cox, who preceded her in death on September 16, 2015.
Debbie was an animal lover and loved the beach especially Ocean City. Some of her favorite pastimes include coloring, fishing, and camping. Most of all Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family especially her three dogs, the late Champ, and Thunder and Angel, whom she thought of as her children and who will be traveling with her to heaven.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Hughes, of Baltimore; three grandchildren, Brandi Hughes, Kaileb Hughes, and Paige Hughes all of Baltimore; three sisters Doris Swift of Florida, Bonnie Zimmerman of Baltimore, and Robin Stump of Preston, one brother David Graham of Bel Air, a brother in law Harold Lee Cox, Jr. of Frederick, two sister in laws Melissa Cramer and her husband George of Middle River and Mary Beth Lambert and her husband Donald of Woodhaven, Michigan; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Sykesville. Family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
