Deborah L Winder's Obituary
Debra L. Winder, of Milford, passed away on March 13, 2015 at her home in Milford. She was 56.
She was born on April 24, 1958 in Manhattan, New York and was a daughter of the late Louise Matthews Winder.
Deborah graduated from Laurel High School class of 1977.
She is survived by her son, Skyler Winder, of Milford, two grandsons, Elijah Oney, of Milford, and Stephen Slayton, Jr., of Milford, three brothers, Calvin Winder, of Bronx, New York, Jesse Winder, of Laurel, and Mark Winder, of Wilmington, a sister, Helena Cole, of Houston, a uncle, Willis Matthews, of New Castle, two nieces, Tara Matthews, of Milford, and Tosheena Matthews, of Chestertown, a nephew, Lamarcus Matthews, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, a special cousin, Vera Matthews, of Laurel, and several other cousins.
Besides her mother, Mrs. Winder is also preceded in death by a daughter, Kristin Winder, two brothers Jeffrey Winder and Michael Winder, and one sister, Gigi Matthews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Canaan Full Gospel Christian Church, Houston, DE, with Pastor Monique Hampton officiating. Interment will be private. Friends may call from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the church.
