Debra Faye Fluharty of Federalsburg, MD went to her eternal heavenly reward on October 25, 2013 at Genesis the Pines in Easton MD after a long battle with cancer. She was 52. Born in Easton MD she was the daughter of Charles Dee Read Obituary
To the family of Debbie Griffith (Fluharty)...you have my deepest sympathy in the passing of your loved one. I just happened to be on Frampton's website and saw her picture and immediately recognized her smile, but was sorry to see that she had passed. Debbie and I graduated together (class of 79) and on behalf of our class, I would like to extend heartfelt prayers to her family.
My mother was my hero and came to be my best friend. We had our ups and downs as any family did but when the chips were down it was mama i called for. I was so thankful that i spent nearly every day and night with her at the end. That is something i will forever treasure and remember as some of the best and toughest days of my life. Despite all the surgeries and the sickness she always looked at life with a smile.
A little morbid joke but a month or so before her passing we were sitting around talking about ironically death and dying and funeral expenses and all that. I heard mom shyly say well you could always make jello out of me since you say its made out of bones anyway... I stopped a second and actually cracked up laughing. I forgot i told her the fact about gelatin being made of bones... (i'm definitely not going to do that mind you)
For my momma i love you and will always miss and remember you. I know i really didnt say it as often as i should have but you were never far from my heart.
Please accept my deepest sympathy during the loss of your loved one. Death is an enemy to mankind and Almighty GOD promises that He is going to remove death, sickness and pain forever. ( Revelation 21:3&4 ) Please look forward to that time, also John 5:28&29 gives us hope of being reunited with our loved ones again. So please take comfort in the scriptures during your time of grief and may your entire family be strengthened and blessed.
Debbie was one of my favorite people to see, because she was always able to brighten my day. I would tease her, when I would see her, and she would laugh and smile that shy smile, and her smile was contagious. She is one of the few people I have had the pleasure of knowing, that has had that effect on me. I didn't see her often, but I was always happy when I did. Rest in peace, sweet, gentle Debbie, you will be missed. I think the world is just a little bit darker without you here.
Debbie and I graduated from High School together. We ate lunch together everyday. She always had a smile no matter what. When she wasn't there it just wasn't the same. We lost touch as people do when they graduate. But I would see her in town or in the store she still had that smile. You will be missed but we know your still smiling. Love you Debbie! Debbie was a very special person! We had some really good times & laughs together! Even though life & circumstances found their way between us once upon a time...we were able to put things behind us and move on. No matter how she was feeling she always had a smile for you! To The Fluharty Family, I would like to take moment to express my sincere condolences of the demise of Debbie. She was a beautiful person, and I thank God for our special friendship. I , never heard Debbie complain about her illness from the very first time I met her.she always had a jovial smile know matter when I would see her.She loved her family,mostly her Daddy. When she came to the Pines in Easton, Maryland, she and i became friends. I thank God for allowing us to become friends. Debbie will be sadly missed.
