Delores Aldridge's Obituary
Delores “Dee” Aldridge of Cambridge, MD passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She was 57.
Born Aug. 28, 1954 in Hurlock, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Ellsworth Aldridge, Sr. and Josephine Newcomb Aldridge.
She had been employed by B & G Foods in Hurlock, and by the former John N. Wright Cannery. She was a member of Miracle of Faith Church of God.
She is survived by a son, Steven W. Aldridge (Kimberly) of Hurlock, two daughters Melissa Ann Barnes Brown (Joseph) of Millsboro, DE, and Rita Cephas (Whitney) of Cambridge, 11 grandchildren, and 10 siblings, Charles “Mickey” Aldridge, Sr., Melvin “Junior” Aldridge, Jr., Rosemary Green, Margaret Jones, all of Hurlock, Robenson “Pete” Aldridge of Cambridge, Jerome Aldridge of Baltimore, Christine Simms of Cambridge, Oletha Aldridge of Hurlock, Brenda Aldridge of Cambridge, and Laverne Simms of Hurlock; and many nieces and nephews. A son, John Henry Barnes, Jr. preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. May 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bethlehem with Elder David Green officiating. Interment will follow in Petersburg Cemetery near Hurlock. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Arrangements made by Framptom Funeral Home.
