Dixie Lee (Haddaway) Caulk's Obituary
Dixie L. Caulk Easton, Dixie Lee Caulk of Easton, died at her home with her family at her side on Saturday, October 11, 2014. She was 78. Born on Tilghman Island, on October 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Frances “Toots†Pritchett Haddaway. Dixie attended Talbot County public school on Tilghman. She had a lifelong career as a hair stylist, something she truly enjoyed, she worked at Illusions Hair Design in Easton, until earlier this year when her health forced her to retire. Mrs. Caulk is survived by her three children; Joy Kinnamon (Brice), Chuck Caulk (Chris), and Cyndee Caulk all of Easton, three Grandchildren; B.G. Kinnamon, Keith Kinnamon, and Heather Caulk, one brother; Tommy Haddaway (Mary) of Tilghman, and one sister; Sherry Spurry (Doug) of St. Michaels, and one nephew; T. Haddaway. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two nieces; Karen Savoy and Courtney Spurry and one nephew; Josh Haddaway. A celebration of Life service will be held at the Tilghman United Methodist Church on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 2:00PM. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to Talbot Hospice Foundation 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton MD. 21601 or to the Tilghman U.M.C. P.O. Box 108 Tilghman, MD. 21671. Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home, St. Michaels, MD.
