Dolores E. Griffith's Obituary
On 29 January 2023, Dolores Griffith of Seaford, Delaware, passed comfortably at her home with her devoted husband by her side. Affectionately known as 'Dee', she possessed an infectious smile and love of life, who was loved and adored by family, friends and caregivers.
She was born the daughter of the late Earl and Eleanora Poist.
Dee and her husband traveled a lot to Florida, Iowa to visit relatives and many locations throughout the U.S., Canada, Virgin Islands and Bermuda. They have a lot of cherished memories and she will always be in our hearts. Until we meet again...
Survived by her loving husband of 45 years, William 'Billy' Griffith, her brother Earl Poist (Gabrielle), brother John Poist, brother-in-law Bunky Griffith (Renee), brother-in-law Steven Griffith (Melinda), and beloved pet dogs Hope and Izzy. And of course all other extended family members and many close friends.
The family would like to thank Delaware Hospice, Fresenius Kidney Care, and its caring staff as well as Framptom Funeral Home. And also those individuals that provided home health care.
Dee was born August 19 in Baltimore, Maryland. She became a cosmetologist in Baltimore and worked in Easton and Federalsburg. Her salon, Dee's Boutique, was in Preston.
