Don W. Marine's Obituary
Don W. Marine passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Florida Hospital South in Orlando, FL. He was 73.
He was born June 26, 1940 in Brookview, MD, the son of the late
Harry Marine and Della Wheatley Marine.
Don served his country in the National Guard from 1960 until his retirement in 1985. He also retired from DuPont’s in Seaford, DE. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time on his pontoon boat.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna Compher and her husband Kevin of Berlin, MD; Michael Ann Phillips and her husband John of Federalsburg, MD; 4 granddaughters, Jordan and Jamie Phillips of Federalsburg; and Atlea and Mollie Compher of Berlin; and one cousin, Nelson Wheatley and his wife Linda of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by a brother William Marine, by a son Martin Marine and his wife Sue Marine.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, MD with Dr. Thomas McKelvey officiating.
