Donald Leon Adams' Obituary
On Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 5:30 a.m., the Lord whispered "sweet peace" to our beloved Donald Leon Adams and he entered into eternal rest. He departed this life at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, MD. He was 85 years old.
Donald Leon Adams, was born in Hurlock (Elwood), Maryland on April 8, 1940 to the late John Wesley Adams Sr, and Dorothy Elizabeth Brackett-Adams. He attended Jonestown Elementary and Lockerman High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John W. Adams Jr, and a sister, Dorothy Anne Teagle, both of Hurlock, MD.
Donald was employed for many years at Allen's Family Foods in Cordova, MD until he retired. He also worked on Whitley's farm in Williamsburg and held numerous other odd jobs just to keep himself busy. Donald enjoyed fishing and going to auctions. You could often times find him riding around town in his pick up or being the local taxi for his neighbors when they needed to go grocery shopping. He loved to eat and one of his favorite foods was the cheesesteak sub from U5. Donald spent the latter part of his life enjoying his two daughters and other family members.
He leaves to mourn his passing: his two daughters Christine Foreman, Denton MD; her children Latoya Stanley (Charles), Tamara Fletcher (Jonathan) and Kenneth Murph and Nicole Frazier Fletcher (Ronald), Lincoln, DE; her children India Frazier, Ronika Frazier and Devonna Fletcher; two sisters, Doris Cephas (Solomon) and Florence Outlaw, both of Hurlock, MD; a special nephew, Gregory Cephas; a special friend, Rudolph Farrow and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
