Donald L. Leeser's Obituary
Donald Louis Leeser of Seaford, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 1, 2007. He was 60.
He was born in Federalsburg, MD on January 28, 1947, the son of Lillian Mitchell Leeser of Federalsburg, and the late Albert Louis Leeser.
He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School in 1965. He served his country being enlisted in the United States Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran flying TDY. Upon graduation from college, he owned his own heating and air conditioning business in Lacota, MI before returning to the Eastern Shore. He loved to dig and prospect for gold and going to the beach with his sister Liz. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially in the summer, enjoying crabs.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Gillyard, of Hattiesburg, MS, Debra Leland of Saranac, MI, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Todd and her husband, J.L. Todd of Harmony, Elizabeth A. Paul and her husband, Joseph Paul of Reliance, and two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Leeser.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating.
