Donald R. Milligan's Obituary
Donald Roger Milligan of Cambridge, formerly of Gaithersburg, MD, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Howard County General Hospital. He was 61.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1947 in Detroit, MI, the son of Alice Hazel Corey Milligan of Federalsburg, and the late Roger Steele Milligan.
He was a graduate of North Dorchester High School class of 1964. He was the retired owner of Barwood Taxi Service in Gaithersburg, Montgomery Co. He enjoyed watching old movies, jazz music, and loved animals.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a sister, Cindy M. Smith and her husband, Richard of Easton, a nephew, J. Corey Schmidt of Preston, a niece, Rebecca Louise Schmidt of Sano Chi, Japan, an aunt, Della Walden of Detroit, Michigan, and dear friends, Mike and Betty Healy of Silver Spring, MD.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Bishop Ray Parsons officiating. Interment will follow at Brookview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. on Monday.
