Donna Faye Bowdle's Obituary
Donna "Faye" Fisher Bowdle of Federalsburg, MD passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 86. She was born March 23, 1940 in Easton, MD the daughter of the late John Henry Fisher and Anna Marie Wothers Fisher.
She grew up in Federalsburg and often spent her summer days at Chambers Lake swimming with her friends. At the age of 10, she was in a terrible accident miraculously surviving and never losing her contagious smile.
She graduated from Federalsburg High School in 1959. She met the love of her life Dickie Bowdle at the age of 15 and they were married November 7, 1959 after he served in the Army.
She enjoyed meeting new people during her banking career. Faye was a faithful member of Christ Church.
Her favorite hobbies were spending time with her family and friends, laughing and having fun. She always said she had a blessed life and she truly loved everyone. She took pride in making her house a home.
She is survived by two children: Cathy Bowdle of Federalsburg and Richard Lee Bowdle, Jr. and his wife Suzanne of Denton; three grandchildren: Emily Bowdle, Jessica Bowdle, and Sarah Bowdle; and a sister-in-law Carlis Fisher of Denton.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Edgar Howard, Ralph Howard, Jack Fisher and Patricia Fisher Griffith.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
