Donna Jean Huffman's Obituary
Donna Jean (Andrew) Huffman, 66, of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Tuesday June 3rd,2025 after a brief illness. Donna was born on December 14th, 1958 in Easton MD, the daughter of Anna R. (Swann) Williams and John A. Andrew. She attended Easton High School prior to marrying her high school sweetheart, Kenneth R. (Buddy) Huffman on December 21, 1974.
Through 51 years of marriage Donna and Buddy welcomed two children, first a daughter,Crystal Ann Huffman and then a son, Jonathan Michael Huffman. Before long she was known not only as mom, but as Grammy and MomMom to four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Donna's faith was extremely important to her, attending many churches throughout her lifetime, but most recently was a part of the Crossroads Community Church family.
Friends and family knew Donna was rarely spotted without her cup of coffee or chocolate milkshake. She was always quick to share the most recent accomplishments of her children and grandchildren and was eager to brag about her latest thrift store finds.
Donna was employed by CareFirst Blue Cross/ Blue Shield for nearly 30 years where she held the title of a claims analyst.
By those who loved her most, Donna will be remembered as selfless, loving, reserved, stubborn,and kind.
Donna is survived by her husband, Kenneth "Buddy" Huffman, of Federalsburg, her mother, Anna Williams of Federalsburg, a sister, Connie Bilbrough of Greensboro, a daughter, Crystal Huffman of Preston, a son Jonathan Huffman (Denisse) of Dansville, NJ, four grandchildren Kyla Richardson (Joseph), Ava Lynch, Nathaniel & Josiah Huffman, and two great-grandchildren Rowen & Myra Richardson. Along with many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father John Andrew, her step-father Richard Williams, her brother-in-law John Huffman.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 10th at Framptom Funeral Home, Federalsburg, MD. The family invites you to join them for a viewing and visitation starting at noon, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm.
