Donna J Carter's Obituary
Donna Jean Carter of Federalsburg, MD passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, April 17, 2008. She was 58.
She was born Nov. 7, 1949 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late
Stonewall Jackson Kiser and Dorothy Alberta McQuay Kiser.
She worked as a Customer Service Rep. at Bob’s Transport & Storage in Baltimore until she moved to the Eastern Shore in 1996. For many years she cared for her grandmother, Ruth N. McQuay, until her passing in 2005. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Russell E. “Rusty” Carter, Jr. whom she married on Nov. 9, 1978, three children, Ronald Carter and Russell E. Carter, III, both of Baltimore, and John J. Carter of Federalsburg, 12 grandchildren, Rusty IV, Autumn, Ryan, Brianna, Cheyanne, John Jr., Mason, Brayden, Kelsey, Riley, Raelyn, and Colton; a sister, Gail L. Kiser, two brothers, Richard G. Kiser and John W. Kiser, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stonewall Jackson Kiser, III and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Nevin Crouse officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
