Don Willis Brown's Obituary
Don Willis Brown of Hurlock, MD passed away at Dorchester General Hospital on Monday, July 4, 2011. He was 50.
He was born on August 29, 1960 in Easton, MD, the son of the late Irving Brown and Clara Willis Brown.
He worked in dock maintenance at H & M Bay in Federalsburg. He was in the Delaware National Guard for over nine years. He was a member of the Hurlock Volunteer Fire Company where he served as a trustee, a member of the American Legion Post 243, and attended Unity Washington United Methodist Church and Hurlock Wesleyan Church.
Don is survived by his wife, Wanda Beavers Brown, two stepchildren, Stephanie Schuyler and Thomas Dale Schuyler, six step grandchildren, a brother, I. Leon Brown and his wife, Janet of Seaford, a nephew, Kevin Brown and his wife, Valerie of Seaford, two great nieces, Samantha and McKenzie, and cousins, Jeff Fooks and his wife, Sheila and Amy Wright and her husband, Michael.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Unity-Washington United Methodist Church in Hurlock. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at Framptom Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church.
